•USAGE:(1.) Глагол to like относится к группе глаголов, после которых обязательно прямое дополнение. Глагол to like употребляется в конструкциях to like smb, smth; to like to do smth и to like doing smth Когда в предложении содержательно нет прямого дополнения, его место замещает местоимение it. Таким образом, русские предложения, включающие обстоятельства времени и места, не имеющие прямого дополнения, типа Вам нравится? соответствуют в английском языке конструкции типа to like it somewhere, где it занимает место дополнения: He likes it here very much.
